On such a warm and dry day as today I thought I'd bring you thoughts of cooler times! This picture was taken on one of the most awesome days of my life. I was in Amsterdam, April 1978, staying in a youth hostel. I had already spent a day at the Rembrandt Museum and the Van Gogh Museum, and was quite satisfied with my visit. And then it started to snow. It snowed and snowed and snowed, and I walked all over Amsterdam until I was completely exhausted. It was SO beautiful. I had black and white film in my old Fujica 801 that day. I'm glad I did.
